Even though it rained the two days I was in Dalat, I'm still really happy I included it in my itinerary. Dalat had lots to offer, in food, views, and activities. Today I took the cable car to Truc Lam Temple. The cable car experience was quite fun, and the views from the top of the hill were incredible, even for a rainy day.

Dalat is different from the rest of Vietnam. It's located in Vietnam's highlands, which gives it its characteristic year-round cool weather. The city is quite hilly, and has a lake in its center, surrounded by pine trees. All of that combined with the colonial buildings give the city a very European vibes. After months of heat, I'm really enjoying the cool weather. I missed wearing pants!
