Today I visited a "Gurdwara", a Sikh temple. All Gurdwaras have halls were free meals are served for people from any faith (or no faith). The experience was awesome, and the food was not only free but delicious. I truly recommend it to anyone.

I took it slow today, chilling in a cafe for most of the day (Malacca is full of nice cafes!). In the afternoon I went to the Floating Mosque, a beautiful place to watch the sunset, and then enduldged at the Jonker Street Night market.

The city of Malacca (or Melaka) has been gaining popularity since 2008, when it achieved UNESCO World Heritage status. Still, it feels like a calm city, where you can sit and relax for a few days, after the craziness of KL. And don't even get me started with the food! So many things to try, like "Nyonya"-style food (Chinese & Malay fusion).
