Chinese and Indian cuisine are part of Penang's identity, so trying some of their food is a must if here. I then went up to Penang Hill, where you have an incredible view of the island, especially if you're lucky enough to have a clear sky.

The path to Sai Nuan beach is long and confusing, and you'll need to cross several resorts to get there, but you won't regret it. The beach is one of the best ones I've been so far, and there's usually almost no one. After relaxing all day at the beach I said goodbye to Koh Tao. Where am I going next?

Today I got my Open Water certification! 🎓 Even though I hesitated at the beginning, this was an amazing experience, and definitely worth the money. Now I'll have to do some dives during the rest of my trip. Indonesia? Philippines? Who knows.

2nd day of my 3-day Open Water certification. Diving is such an incredible thing! "It's the closest you'll ever get to flying" my instructor told me today, and I couldn't agree more.

Koh Tao is one of the best destinations in the world for scuba diving, so I couldn't think of a better place to get my Open Water certification. Today was my 1st out of 3 days, and I loved every second of it. Can't wait for tomorrow!
